Miller holds an MSc in African Studies and researches comparative and international education at the University of Oxford. Her work explores the impact of history, society and politics on national educational systems and environmental policies in East Africa. Though academically focused on environmental education and conservation, Miller is involved with a scholarship foundation in Tanzania and is engaged in the on-going discourse regarding the decolonisation of knowledge in Africa.
