Originally an architecture graduate, Sam first worked in Seville before deciding the field wasn’t for him. Since then he has interned for a Green Party MEP in Brussels, worked for the Cuba Solidarity Campaign in Havana and taught English in Tokyo. Now based in London, he has focused on Green politics while writing on a broad range of issues, including for Japan Today and People & Planet.
