Valentine is a current Masters student in Development Finance at the Graduate School of Business of the University of Cape Town. His research interests concern political economy, development economics and international relations. Valentine is an alumni of the African Programme on Rethinking Development Economics (APORDE). He is a Zimbabwean national, and considers Noam Chomsky as one of his greatest influences. Valentine spends his free time programming in Python and is a computer science enthusiast.
